Firefox 3.6 coming with Orientation support

Orientation on cellphones is around for quite some time now but we haven't seen the orientation support from the browsers for Desktop PCs and Laptops. But Mozilla has introduced a new API in the new build of Firefox i.e. 3.6 which checks the machines orientation and updates the browser accordingly. The API gets the directions in which the netbook or notebook is moving.
Support for Linux and Macbooks is being added. Lets see when Firefox 3.6 comes out of beta. Here is what the orientation would look like

Beta release news is around here
