Firefox team is bringing next update to Firefox series, 3.6 Beta. They have given tentative schedule of the release and that is Oct 13.

Here is what the group mentioned,

Oct 5 : Code freeze late evening PDT
Oct 6 : Start build1 of the beta assuming trees are green
Oct 7 : Begin QA testing (or earlier as builds become available)
Oct 13 : Complete QA testing by AM, ship beta in late day PDT

If the job gets done on due time and there are are no hiccups in development work, then we can surely get this update on time.Else, you will be prompted!!!

Its not a major update like Firefox 4.0 but there are some minor updates in this release like restore session optimization, better page-rendering and improvement in Javascript engine.
